Chestnut St. Pixel Foundry was founded in 2009 by business partners Kelly Chen and Megan Seely, with a mission to provide only the finest, hand-crafted communication design.

Kelly Chen decided to pursue art somewhere between the ages of learning to pick up a pencil and learning about Picasso. She graduated from Capilano University's IDEA program in 2007. Prior to IDEA, she was enrolled in Studio Art and Art History studies at Capilano. Having completed design school, Kelly has established that years of coding in Notepad was worth it, embracing white space is essential, and typography is nothing to be scoffed at.

Megan “Em Dash” Seely also graduated from the IDEA program at Capilano University in 2007. She has also taken Fine Arts at the Emily Carr Institute and acquired web programming knowledge from the BC Institute of Technology. Em is noted for clean, consistent layout, attention to detail, and timeless design. As her nickname may suggest, she is fond of typography. When she is not in front of a computer screen, she can be found reading, exploring nature, shopping, and attending to her two black Siamese-cross felines.
